Blessed are the undefiled (the upright, truly sincere, and blameless) in the way [of the revealed will of God], who walk (order their conduct and conversation) in the law of the Lord (the whole of God’s revealed will).
Blessed are they who keep His testimonies, and who seek, inquire for and of Him and crave Him with the whole heart.
I would like to start studying and meditating Psalm 119 and I thank you in advance for joining me in this study and pray that God will reveal to us the depths of His Word and work in and amongst us.
As I ponder upon these two verses, one thing shouts out! Am I craving for God as I would for things of the world? No! Why can’t I do that? The answer lies in verse one. Am I walking in the law of the Lord? We are all created to be in a relationship with God yet the worldly things has consumed us so much that we come oblivious to this craving for God. Yet, deep in our hearts we know there’s this unknown yearning which many are unable to realise what it is unless revealed. I pray this day for those people who are in pursuit for this yearning that they come to realise God is the one they are looking for and He alone is their answer. I pray for each of us that we will yield and be attentive to the promptings of the Holy Spirit and allow Him to lead us. Let the craving for God be found in each of us! Amen.
